‘Don’t Call Me Something For Nothing’

I was sitting on the street searching for midnight meteors, sipping my mayan mocha (the deep dark spicy kind with cayenne in it). Tom was on the curb playing music on his keyboard in the key of G major, while Soloman danced around and around in the blur of his poi.

A man walked by, he stopped next to me to listen, and said, “This jives with my soul.”

I nodded.

He pointed to Tom and asked me, “Do you suppose he is God?”

I shrugged. Then I nodded.
